Women’s Giving Circle

The Women’s Giving Circle of the Community Giving Foundation is a membership-driven group that empowers, connects, and inspires women and girls by supporting initiatives and resources that better their lives. Membership follows a calendar year, pooling donations together to create a larger impact in the region. With several different levels of giving available and opportunities throughout the year to network with and learn from other members, there is a place for everyone to join! During the Women’s Giving Circle 2023 annual meeting, four grant finalists presented their proposals to members and community partners. Taking an active role in the grantmaking process, members were asked to cast their vote to decide grant awards. DIG Furniture Bank and Union County Giving Closet received $10,000 each to support their programs in our region. The Columbia County Traveling Library and Girls on the Run also presented proposals and received $500 each.
